Apologies for the short notice on posting this, I should've gotten this out there much sooner. I have to share this workshop that Janet Redford of
Mindblown, Inc
, is teaching tomorrow morning and evening at Community Banks of Colorado.
If you are struggling with your finances running your own business, or with your personal finances, you should absolutely do yourself a favor and hear what she has to say! I attended the workshop that she held in June for the Evergreen Chamber and 4 other participants and I signed on for Janet to help us. We've been meeting about every other week and I can't say enough amazing things about the coaching and systems that Janet has helped us set up. It's totally turned all of us around!
We had a meeting today and I had an Ah-Ha moment: we were told to write down what we would
like to make each month (and stretch ourselves - not be outrageously out of reach, but an ideal goal). I picked a number, thinking there's no way, but it would be so awesome - $10,000. Then I started breaking it down. Ideally, I'd like to have weekends off again, so I divided that dollar amount by 22 days, and then that amount by 9 - my ideal hours/day to work so I can have a good work/life balance yet again. The final amount was exactly what I already charge for social media consultations with individuals! It was an ah-ha moment that my ideal monthly wage was completely within reach of what I could make, because my trouble lies in having undervalued our advertising here. It was a huge leap forward for me! I feel energized, ready to take on new challenges, open to the idea of partnering with others who have similar goals and visions, mind racing with possibilities of creative marketing plans, new customer cultivation, and better customer service for existing clients, and bounced out of that room with a renewed sense of dedication and enthusiasm that I'm on the right path with my business!
All from a class that teaches you a new system of how to save your income, and through listening to an experienced business coach who helps you you grow yourself and improve how your business operates.
If you spend everything you take in and struggle with getting ahead, do yourself a favor and listen to what Janet has to say. The workshop is free, it's just 2 hours of your time and if you don't think it's right for you, there's no commitment required.
Edit to add: I know the RSVP says by Aug 24, but I know there is room available yet so you can send it in tonight. If it's too late of notice, I know Janet is planning additional workshops and I will do better getting notice out about those.
