Beginner Yoga Flow with Laurie Love
Every Tuesday from 12-1 pm.
This beginner friendly class introduces fundamental Hatha yoga postures and incorporates them into a slow vinyasa flow using pranayama (focused breath) and proper body alignment. Options to modify physical postures will be provided for every unique body. Students will also learn and practice basic meditation techniques and yoga philosophy. This class is perfect for beginner yogis and yoginis and for those wanting a refresher on the essentials of yoga.
Laurie began practicing yoga in 2006, and received her 200 hour yoga certification from Karma Yoga Center in Denver, Colorado in November, 2010. Laurie found yoga while on a quest for attaining optimal health and fell in love at first savasana. Her passion is inspiring students to find their edge, explore outside of their comfort zone, and take their practice off their mats and into the world!
Laurie is also available for private lessons and classes. Private yoga lessons are highly recommended for beginning yoga students who would like consultation and guidance on their practice and to build confidence for practicing yoga in a group setting; anyone who desires to relieve and heal injury or chronic pain; or yoga practitioners who would like to take their practice to the next level. All private lessons are geared directly towards fulfilling students' needs and goals, and students will be provided with invaluable practical information on how to heal and balance the body, mind, and spirit through physical movement, breath work, and meditation.
