This year marks EChO's 12th Annual Turkey Trot! Enjoy Thanksgiving morning with a family friendly three mile trot around Evergreen Lake. The route will begin and end in the parking lot of the Church of the Transfiguration. From there, trotters will race west on Independence Drive, through downtown on the sidewalk, under Hwy 73 and up the bridge on the north side of Lake Evergreen. Race around the lake and down the south staircase returning through downtown and back to the church parking lot. If it snows on Wednesday, be careful of ice on the south side of the lake just before the stairs. If you have “YakTrax”, bring them or shoes with good traction.
