 - 3 p.m. Meet professional and avocational archaeologists from around the s
 tate bring to life the cultures of the past.Start at the Expo at Roxborough
  Intermediate School to pick up an event schedule which includes informatio
 n and directions to the off-site activities. Hot dog, chips, and a drink wi

  Comparison of the Douglas County Blackfoot Cave Early Archaic\nPeriod Site
  to Previously Reported Denver Area Archaeological Sites\n\nBio: Jack C. Wa
 rner is a lifelong student of the archaeology and anthropology of early hum
 ans. He has a particular interest in the early people in the Americas. Jack
  is active in archaeological fieldwork: survey, digs, lab artifact curation
 , analysis, talks, and publication involving prehistoric human occupation i
 n the areas of the Colorado Front Range and Southwestern Colorado. Jack giv
 es talks and tours relating to Denver Basin prehistoric archaeology, includ
 ing at the Lamb Spring Archaeological Preserve, a 10,000+ year-old Paleo-In
 dian site with many extinct mammoth and bison remains, where he is the Lead
  Docent. Jack is a Past President and an active Director of the Colorado Ar
 chaeological Society, and is the archaeology lead for the Ken-Caryl Ranch H
 istorical Society. He has visited archaeological sites in all six of the pe
 rmanently inhabited continents of the Earth. He is a member of the Center f
 or the Study of the First Americans, and The Archaeological Conservancy. \n
