 arathon course offers the best of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, including t
 owering pines, beautiful canyons, mountain lakes, and a gently flowing stre
 am. This downhill paved course may be the fastest and most beautiful you ev
 er run!\n\n\nThe Half Marathon begins at the intersection of Lewis Ridge Ro
 ad and Evergreen Parkway in the beautiful community of Evergreen. The first
  three miles of the course include broad views of the valley and Elk Meadow
  Park as runners head off into the sunrise. The course leaves Evergreen Par
 kway at Douglas Park Road, eventually turning into Meadow Drive.\n\n\nFrom 
 Meadow Drive the course connects onto Bear Creek Road and follows the creek
  straight downhill all the way to mile 13 at the entrance to the town of Mo
 rrison. This portion of the course offers some of the most spectacular scen
 ery in the West, including stunning rock formations, humming streams, and b
 eautiful foliage.\n\n\nUpon reaching Morrison the course passes the entranc
 e to the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater before turning south on Highwa
 y 8 and finishing at the entrance of Morrison Park.\n\n\nRunners should mak
 e sure to train appropriately for this course as downhill running works mus
 cles differently than flat or uphill running.\n\n\nMarathon\n\nThe REVEL Ro
 ckies Marathon course offers the best of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, incl
 uding breathtaking views of the Mile High City, towering pines, beautiful c
 anyons, mountain lakes, and a gently flowing stream. If that were not enoug
 h, the whole course is downhill on a paved highway and is a Boston Marathon
  qualifier!\n\n\nThe Marathon begins roughly eleven miles up Squaw Pass Roa
 d near the old Echo Mountain Ski Resort and winds its way past Squaw Mounta
 in, Mount Judge, Snyder Mountain, and Mount Pence, all the while enjoying a
  perfectly smooth downhill grade.\n\n\nAfter leaving Squaw Pass Road the co
 urse connects onto Evergreen Parkway as it makes its way through the beauti
 ful community of Evergreen from miles 12-17. This portion of the course pro
