DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:\n\n \n\n\nThe American Heart Association (AHA), Heartsaver CPR/AED course 
 is designed to teach people the basic skills of CPR and how to operate an A
 ED.  Students will receive instruction in the following areas:\n\n -     Sc
 ene assessment/safety\n -     Activating EMS\n -     CPR for adults, childr
 en, and infants\n -     AED (Automated External Defibrillation), proven lif
 e saving technology\n -     Foreign body airway obstruction\n -     Recogni
 tion of signs and symptoms of: heart attack, stroke, choking and sudden car
 diac arrest\n\nHeartsaver CPR/AED Certification $25:\n\n\nFor anyone who wa
 nts to learn CPR and AED, is not a healthcare provider, and lives or works 
 in the Evergreen Fire Protection District. This includes mandatory text boo
 k, test, & certification card (e-card) for $25. Certification is good f
 or 2 years. (Certification is $41.00 if you don’t live or work in the distr
 ict.) Minimum age for certification is 12 years.\n\n\n2021 CPR/AED Schedule
 : \n\n\nClasses will be held on the 3rd Wednesday from 5 – 9 pm and the 3rd
  Saturday from 9am to 1 pm from April through November in 2021.  Class Sche
 dule for 2021 Link\n\n\nClass size will be limited to a maximum of 8 studen
 ts at this time to enable the required distancing of students in the classr
 oom. A mask is required and may be removed during the hands on training for
  rescue breathing.\n\n\nAll scheduled classes will be held at the EFR admin
 istration/ training facility, Room A located at:  1802 Bergen Parkway, Ever
 green, CO. 80439\n\n\nParents must sign a waiver for their K-12 children to
  participate in the CPR program. AHA Heartsaver Program for K-12 Student Wa
 iver\n\n\nOff site training may be available upon request.  You’ll need to 
 provide us with a suitable training area, TV and a DVD player. Off site tra
 ining fee will be $90 per student. All EFR & EPAD instructors are certi
 fied through the American Heart Association. \nAHA BLS for the Healthcare P
 rovider: \n\nHealthcare provider classes are not scheduled regularly, but c
 an be arranged to meet your personal needs at our place or yours. This cour
 se is intended for people who provide health care in a professional setting
  such as doctors, nurses, in hospital technicians, and first responders (fi
 re fighters, EMS personnel, etc). Students of this course will receive inst
 ruction in the following areas:\n\n -     Scene assessment/safety\n -     A
 ctivating EMS\n -     Recognition of heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest a
 nd choking\n -     CPR for adults, children, and infants\n -     2 person C
 PR\n -     AED (Automated External Defibrillation)\n -     Foreign body air
 way obstruction (choking)\n -     Use of oxygen delivery devices such as a 
 BVM\n\nThe fee for HCP is $55.00 per person, includes mandatory textbook. (
 Minimum of 4 students)\n All of our CPR classes meet current national and s
 tate requirements.  Certification is good for 2 years.\n\n\nOff site traini
 ng may be available upon request.  You’ll need to provide us with a suitabl
 e training area,\n TV and a DVD player.  Fee for off-site training is $75 p
 er student (minimum of 4 students)All EFR & EPAD instructors are certif
 ied through the American Heart Association.\nOnline Classes through America
 n Heart Association: \n\nEFR can provide Skills Evaluation for online Heart
 saver CPR/AED, First Aid, and Heart Code BLS for Healthcare Provider Course
 s.   You can complete most of the AHA courses you need online at your conve

 hen finished with the online portion of the class, print out the completion
  certificate and bring it with you for your skills check off.  Skills sessi

 to schedule a day/time. \nFirst Aid Classes:\n\nFirst Aid Classes may be sc
 heduled by making special arrangements with the CPR coordinator.  (Minimum 
 of 4 students) The cost of this class is $61.00 per student. However, pleas
 e consider the online option to get your Heartsaver First Aid course (below
 ). The online class is $31.00, and then you will pay $22.00 for your certif
 ication card, due at the time of the skills evaluation with EFR. The online
  Heartsaver First Aid Class is the most economical and often times the most
  convenient option for the first aid class.   You may find the online Heart
