  Owl’s Roost (ENOR) Environmental Discovery Camp is an award-winning progra
 m of CSU Extension Jefferson County 4-H program that has been providing out
 door learning experiences since 1974.\n2022 Camp dates:\n\nCamp is in sessi
 on daily Monday-Friday.  Drop off:  7:30-8:00 a.m.  Pick-up: 4:00-4:30 p.m.

 p; 6th grade) camps in session\n June 20-24 – Owls, Eagles & Falcons (4
 th, 5th & 6th grade) camps in session\n June 27-July 1 – Owls, Eagles &
 amp; Teens in the WILD! (4th, 5th & 7-9th grade) camps in session\n Jul
 y 4-8 – No camp\n July 11-15 – Owls, Eagles & Teens in the WILD! (4th, 
 5th & 7-9th grade) camps in session\n\n\nDrop off/Pick-up location:  Je
 fferson County Fairgrounds all camp weeks.\n\n\nCamp Fee: The one week camp
  fee is $250.\nSave $20 with our Sibling Discount! Discount will be automat
 ically applied while registering online.\nENOR’s Distinctive Camp Culture\n
 \nDistinct from other outdoor camps are ENOR’s FOCUS, OUTDOOR ACTIVITY, CAR
 E, AND PARTNERSHIPS.\n\n\nENOR’s FOCUS is environmental education and youth
  development rather than recreation. Each day the curriculum highlights uni
 que environmental and social themes that guide learning. Science, math, his
 tory, drama, art, and teamwork are woven into the activities to meet the di
 verse interests of the young learners.\n\n\nOUTDOOR ACTIVITY: To encourage 
 healthy lifestyles, active engagement with the outdoors, and perseverance t
 hrough challenge, the camp day includes hiking in local parks and open spac
 es. Campers are transported by Jeffco Public School buses to unique locatio
 ns each day.\n\n\nCARE: Campers are assigned to one caring educator for the
  week.  This gives campers the opportunity to bond with their leader and pe
 ers, creating a pathway to comfort and safety, supporting an environment of
  learning.\n\n\nPARTNERSHIPS: Personalized instruction is paired with suppl
 emental programming from a number of community partners that enhance the op
 portunity for the campers to broaden their horizons and interact with profe
 ssionals in various fields.\nProgram Descriptions\n\nOwl’s Roost (4th grade
  in fall 2022)\n Eagle’s Nest (5th grade in fall 2022)\n Falcon’s Aerie (6t
 h grade in fall 2022)\n ENOR:  Teens in the Wild (7th-9th grade in fall 202
 2)\n Youth Leadership Team (YLT) for teens 16-18 years old.\n\n\nPlease not
 e:\n\n - The program involves moderate hiking and may not be suitable for c
 hildren with certain health conditions.\n - We do not accommodate requests 
 for campers to be grouped with friends. However, we value that your child i
 s interested in sharing his/her ENOR camp experience with a friend. Therefo
 re the camp day is a balance of small and large group settings that allow a
 ll campers to spend time with familiar AND new friends! Additionally, it wo
 uld be logistically challenging to honor friend requests in a manner that i
 s fair to all campers. We appreciate your understanding and support in this
  matter.\n\nCamp staff: The camp staff consists of highly qualified and tra
 ined professionals who are CPR/First Aid certified. Many are licensed teach
 ers. The camp is recognized as a licensed child care provider.\n\n\nSeeking
  Seasonal Outdoor Educators: We will be looking for dynamic, enthusiastic i
 ndividuals for our upcoming 2022 team, please check back in early 2022 for 
 application information. The ideal candidate must be able to guide campers 
 through experiential learning in a safe and caring environment, possess ste
 llar customer service skills and be a supportive team player. This position
  is perfect for education students that are seeking teaching experience or
