  Owl’s Roost (ENOR) Environmental Discovery Camp is an award-winning progra
 m of CSU Extension Jefferson County 4-H program that has been providing out
 door learning experiences since 1974.\n2022 Camp dates:\n\nCamp is in sessi
 on daily Monday-Friday.  Drop off:  7:30-8:00 a.m.  Pick-up: 4:00-4:30 p.m.

  5th & 7-9th grade) camps in session\n\n\nDrop off/Pick-up location:  J
 efferson County Fairgrounds all camp weeks.\n\n\nCamp Fee: The one week cam
 p fee is $250.\nSave $20 with our Sibling Discount! Discount will be automa
 tically applied while registering online.\nENOR’s Distinctive Camp Culture\
 n\nDistinct from other outdoor camps are ENOR’s FOCUS, OUTDOOR ACTIVITY, CA
 RE, AND PARTNERSHIPS.\n\n\nENOR’s FOCUS is environmental education and yout
 h development rather than recreation. Each day the curriculum highlights un
 ique environmental and social themes that guide learning. Science, math, hi
 story, drama, art, and teamwork are woven into the activities to meet the d
 iverse interests of the young learners.\n\n\nOUTDOOR ACTIVITY: To encourage
  healthy lifestyles, active engagement with the outdoors, and perseverance 
 through challenge, the camp day includes hiking in local parks and open spa
 ces. Campers are transported by Jeffco Public School buses to unique locati
 ons each day.\n\n\nCARE: Campers are assigned to one caring educator for th
 e week.  This gives campers the opportunity to bond with their leader and p
 eers, creating a pathway to comfort and safety, supporting an environment o
 f learning.\n\n\nPARTNERSHIPS: Personalized instruction is paired with supp
 lemental programming from a number of community partners that enhance the o
 pportunity for the campers to broaden their horizons and interact with prof
 essionals in various fields.\nProgram Descriptions\n\nOwl’s Roost (4th grad
 e in fall 2022)\n Eagle’s Nest (5th grade in fall 2022)\n Falcon’s Aerie (6
 th grade in fall 2022)\n ENOR:  Teens in the Wild (7th-9th grade in fall 20
 22)\n Youth Leadership Team (YLT) for teens 16-18 years old.\n\n\nPlease no
 te:\n\n - The program involves moderate hiking and may not be suitable for 
 children with certain health conditions.\n - We do not accommodate requests
  for campers to be grouped with friends. However, we value that your child 
 is interested in sharing his/her ENOR camp experience with a friend. Theref
 ore the camp day is a balance of small and large group settings that allow 
 all campers to spend time with familiar AND new friends! Additionally, it w
 ould be logistically challenging to honor friend requests in a manner that 
 is fair to all campers. We appreciate your understanding and support in thi
 s matter.\n\nCamp staff: The camp staff consists of highly qualified and tr
 ained professionals who are CPR/First Aid certified. Many are licensed teac
 hers. The camp is recognized as a licensed child care provider.\n\n\nSeekin
 g Seasonal Outdoor Educators: We will be looking for dynamic, enthusiastic 
 individuals for our upcoming 2022 team, please check back in early 2022 for
  application information. The ideal candidate must be able to guide campers
  through experiential learning in a safe and caring environment, possess st
 ellar customer service skills and be a supportive team player. This positio
