  Day at The Ranch – a Family-friendly Fundraiser for Wild Aware</strong></s
 pan><br /><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The outdoor activities around Ever
 green abound. Winter sports, summer sports, nature-centered camps and wildl
 ife education are plentiful for kids of all ages. But not all kids have eas
 y access to the domestic animals living here. Introducing a new kind of eve
 nt for families, Wild Aware’s first family-oriented fundraiser, “Family Fun
  Day at the Ranch.” Families and kids of all ages are invited to a very spe
 cial ranch in Evergreen, a beautiful 15-acre equestrian ranch filled with s
 pecial visitors, games, activities and animals children won’t want to leave
 . </span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Join Wild Aware volunteers a
 nd their families on Saturday, July 15, 2023, between 10am – 2pm as we host
  an outdoor event with something for everyone. Bring a picnic lunch, soft d
 rinks, blanket and discover with your kids all the splendors of ranch life.
  Meet little Flicka, a beautiful female miniature white horse who is as gen
 tle as a lamb. Kids can feed her, and Flicka loves to pose for photos. </sp
 an><br /><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We’ll welcome Hawkquest, a local no
 nprofit, who will come with four different raptors including a bald eagle, 
 peregrine falcon, hawk and an owl. Hawkquest has a participatory approach t
 o education with these amazing birds of prey. Visit with the most curious b
 easts on the ranch, the six goats. You’re invited to pet them, play with th
 em, and give them treats as they follow visitors around and down to their c
 limbing playground where kids are invited to join them. Meet the two newest
  goats, too, little babies just the right size for little ones to enjoy.</s
 pan></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The Ranch has gorgeous horses to 
 visit and a stocked pond for those who wish to feed the fish, and a sturdy 
 treehouse nearby. There is a little ancient cabin that has been transformed
  into the cutest playhouse with vintage toys and miniatures, a nice place t
 o relax while the kids play. Learning about local wildlife, we’ll have game
 s and a scavenger hunt to teach kids about our wildlife neighbors.</span></
 p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">And finally, a spot that is sure to be 
 the highlight with the older kids is the hay barn with a rope swing; swingi
 ng from the rafters is allowed. Parents can visit Wild Aware’s other nature
  and environmental nonprofit partners in the hay barn as the kids swing.</s
 pan><br /><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Admission to Family Fun Day at the
  Ranch is just $10 per adult and $5 per child. This event is rain or shine.
