		\n\nFamily Fun Day at The Ran
 ch – a Family-friendly Fundraiser for Wild Aware\nThe outdoor activities ar
 ound Evergreen abound. Winter sports, summer sports, nature-centered camps 
 and wildlife education are plentiful for kids of all ages. But not all kids
  have easy access to the domestic animals living here. Introducing a new ki
 nd of event for families, Wild Aware’s first family-oriented fundraiser, “F
 amily Fun Day at the Ranch.” Families and kids of all ages are invited to a
  very special ranch in Evergreen, a beautiful 15-acre equestrian ranch fill
 ed with special visitors, games, activities and animals children won’t want
  to leave. \n\n\nJoin Wild Aware volunteers and their families on Saturday,
  July 15, 2023, between 10am – 2pm as we host an outdoor event with somethi
 ng for everyone. Bring a picnic lunch, soft drinks, blanket and discover wi
 th your kids all the splendors of ranch life. Meet little Flicka, a beautif
 ul female miniature white horse who is as gentle as a lamb. Kids can feed h
 er, and Flicka loves to pose for photos. \nWe’ll welcome Hawkquest, a local
  nonprofit, who will come with four different raptors including a bald eagl
 e, peregrine falcon, hawk and an owl. Hawkquest has a participatory approac
 h to education with these amazing birds of prey. Visit with the most curiou
 s beasts on the ranch, the six goats. You’re invited to pet them, play with
  them, and give them treats as they follow visitors around and down to thei
 r climbing playground where kids are invited to join them. Meet the two new
 est goats, too, little babies just the right size for little ones to enjoy.
 \n\n\nThe Ranch has gorgeous horses to visit and a stocked pond for those w
 ho wish to feed the fish, and a sturdy treehouse nearby. There is a little 
 ancient cabin that has been transformed into the cutest playhouse with vint
 age toys and miniatures, a nice place to relax while the kids play. Learnin
 g about local wildlife, we’ll have games and a scavenger hunt to teach kids
  about our wildlife neighbors.\n\n\nAnd finally, a spot that is sure to be 
 the highlight with the older kids is the hay barn with a rope swing; swingi
 ng from the rafters is allowed. Parents can visit Wild Aware’s other nature
  and environmental nonprofit partners in the hay barn as the kids swing.\nA
 dmission to Family Fun Day at the Ranch is just $10 per adult and $5 per ch
