Know Before You Go

    NO CANOPY TENTS or LARGE PICNIC UMBRELLAS – if it can be staked i nto the ground, it is not allowed
    • Small, personal shade dev ices like handheld umbrellas and small umbrellas that attach on a lawn chai rs are allowed.
  • NO PETS, please leave th em at home for their safety and sanity
  • No personal fireworks, No po rtable grills, No glass bottles
  • Due to space constraints, no parkin g of oversized vehicles like RV’s.  Additionally, no parking will be allowe d on the frontage road in Clement Park on July 3.
  • No littering – Pl ease use trash receptacles or carry your trash out
  • No marijuana – P ublic consumption of marijuana is prohibited by Colorado State Law
  • Red, White & You is a No Drone Zone – remote control devices are not pe rmitted in Clement Park

  • Admission is free.
  • Brin g a lawn chair or blanket.
  • Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water and sm all flashlight to use post-event.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and be pre pared for lots of walking.

      Colorado Avalanche Game On Street Hockey – free

      • Colorado Avalanche Game On Street Hocke y is a free & fully mobile street hockey initiative created to promote & grow the game of hockey throughout the state of Colorado. At each Gam e On event, all participants are eligible to receive a FREE Avalanche brand ed street hockey stick and ball*. Participants will have open opportunities to play inside the inflatable rink or shoot at the Avalanche shooting targ et. The Colorado Avalanche Amateur Hockey Development staff will be on site to help participants with the basic fundamentals of the game!
        *Liability Waiver Required         for all participants to receive ball/stick and participate in activi ties.

    7 p.m. – Free Concert featuring That Eighties Band – Amphitheater

    • Denver is home to That Eighties Band, one of the most popular 80’s tribute bands in America. The group has performed over 1,800 concerts across the United States. Past clients include Google, Disney and many mor e. They have been featured in numerous magazines, radio programs, and TV sh ows, including HGTV’s House Hunters. CBS named them the top cover band in D enver.
  • 9:30 p.m. – Fire works Display – south of the Amphitheater
    • Please n ote that the firework fallout zone will be marked and fenced. It is very im portant to stay out of the firework fallout area.
    • Fireworks viewing can be achieved anywhere in the park.
    • The fireworks display is wea ther and fire-ban dependent.
  • 10 p.m. – Event Ends

    • Restrooms: Port-o-Lets will be located throughout the event are a including the Kids Zone Area.
    • Lost & Found -and- First Aid: L ocated at the Foothills Park & Recreation District Tent (near the large playground).
    • No Parking will be allowed on the frontage road in Cl ement Park on July 3.

  • Parking is limited, carpoo ling or ride-share is highly recommended.
  • Parking options available in:
    • Clement Park
      • Handicap ONLY parking lots available, utilize the Long Drive entrance to park.
      • Patron parking available in lots on the east side of the park, utilize the Pierce Street entrance.
    • Columbine High School
    • Southwest Plaza Mall – specified location only, View Map
  • When Clement Park par king lots are full, entrances into the park will be closed to vehicles (lot s typically will fill up between 6-7 p.m.)
  • Vehicles are only allowe d on designated roads and to park in designated lots.
  • Do NO T park at the Columbine Library.
  • No Parking will b e allowed on the frontage road in Clement Park on July 3.
  • Due to space constraints, oversized vehicles like RV’s are asked not to par k in Clement Park for this event.
  • No overnight parking or camping.< /li>
  • If you drop off anyone in the park for the event, you will NOT be a ble to drive back into the park until 11 p.m. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Of fice priority is to safely clear traffic out of Clement Park immediately fo llowing the end of the event.
  • No shuttle services provided.
  • It is recommended NOT to park in shopping center lots in the vicinity of C lement Park. These are private properties and each property owner has the r ight to tow vehicles.
