 Chamber and Evergreen Parks and Rec at our 4th Annual winter community even
 t.  \n\nIt is time to accept our reality, foothills community...it is cold 
 here in the winter.  And in the dead of winter, it can be downright frigid!
  In the spirit of embracing and not complaining, your Evergreen Chamber and
  Evergreen Parks and Rec is rolling out a day of fun for all on February 7,
  2026. Join us for Chill Out Winterfest!\n\nRAD AS ICE BIKE RACE\n8:00 AM -
  Mens/Womens "A" Race starts (Registration opens at 7:00 AM)\nEvergreen Lak
 e House\nPre-registration encouraged, limited walk-up available.\n\nCome jo
 in the Evergreen Parks and Recreation District for the only bicycle ice rac
 e in Colorado! This race is ON Evergreen Lake, yes that’s right you will be
  racing on an approximately 1 mile course across the ice. Helmets are requi
 red for all participants and knee and elbow pads are highly recommended. Th
 ere will be three total races - 2 adult races and one kids' race. \n\nMUSHI
 ES CUP\n8:30AM(Check-in 8:00AM) \nEvergreen Lake House\nPre-registration en
 couraged, very limited walk-up available.  \n\nFamily Friendly community co
 mpetition for all ages that showcases our wonderful lake and mountain town.
  Teams of 2 or 4 take to the ice to pull, like a dog sled, their teammate(s
 ) around an obstacle course without popping their float.  Non-slip footwear
  is encouraged.  No Spikes allowed. You are welcome to bring your own infla
 table raft.\n\nEVERGREEN AMAZING RACE 21 & over\n11:00AM Check-in\nChec
 k in at The Little Bear - 28075 Hwy 74\nPre-registration required\n\nAn ove
 r 21 race around Downtown Evergreen. You don't have to be the fastest, just
  the best at completing challenges.  Teams of 4-6 will get clues that will 
 lead them to the next location, challenge and libation (non-alcoholic optio
 n available). Each challenge brings a new clue. Finish the race by 2:00. In
 cludes a chill after party for the participants and community. A walking co
 urse - 1.5 to 2 miles roundtrip. Designated driver is encouraged.\n\nEVERGR
 EEN AMAZING RACE DOWNTOWN, Family Edition\n10:30AM Check-in \nStart and End
  Location will be at the Little Bear Saloon\nPre-registration required\n\nA
  family foot race around North Evergreen. You don't have to be the fastest,
  just the best at completing challenges.  Teams will get clues that will le
 ad them to the next location and challenge.  Each completed challenge bring
 s a new clue. Finish the race back at Buchanan to enjoy the winter concert.

 red!\n\n\nDon’t miss the FIRST EVER Winter Concert at Buchanan Park Ball Fi
 elds! Join us from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM for an epic afternoon featuring Pass T
 he Snakes! Warm up with delicious drinks from Astro Coffee Van, gather arou
 nd the fire pits, and enjoy the bonfire vibes! It’s going to be an afternoo
 n of music and fun with our community!\n\n\n\nGLOW SKATE\n4:00PM Evergreen 
 Lake House\nDay-of tickets available\n\nWe are finishing off our Chill Out 
 Winterfest with a Glow Skate on Evergreen Lake. We are partnering with our 
 local high schools to ensure that our teens (everyone is invited) have a gr
 eat time enjoying the glow skate, fire pits, refreshments and DJ spinning a
 ll the latest hits. If the condition on the ice does not allow for skating,
  this event will be moved inside for a glow dance.  $5 tickets for students
 !\n
