 fied in Mental Health First Aid</h3><p>Mental Health First Aid teaches the 
 skills needed to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental heal
 th and substance use challenges, as well as how to provide someone with ini
 tial support until they are connected with appropriate professional help. I
 n the course, you learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health an
 d addiction concerns, strategies to help someone in both crisis and noncris
 is situations, and where to turn for help.</p><p>The curriculum includes ac
 cess to a two hour self-paced course, and 2 (two) 3.5 hour online sessions.
  You can expect to receive communications about the two hour self-paced cou
 rse approximately 2 weeks before the course start date.</p><p>To attend a c
 lass you must:</p><p>• Complete the self-paced course prior to the schedule
 d</p><p>• A valid email address in order to receive materials and log in</p
 ><p>This course is designed for anyone who would like to make their communi
 ty a healthier, happier and safer place for all. Mental Health First Aid is
  for everyone—from neighbors, parents, friends, veterans, first responders,
