The 285 TechConnect Radio Club - NAØTC was formed in 2006 by Steve - AIØW, Jim - KAØNZZ, and Nancy - KØNNC to provide a forum f or technical discussions, presentations, and projects. We are an ARRL Affiliated Club.
We want to provide a wide-range of learni ng for people interested in the technical and operating areas of ham radio to increase knowledge and license levels and provide a forum for technical learning and sharing of information. Everyone is welcome!
Starting in September, the club will be holding our regular meetings at The Bridge Church at Bear Creek, 3101 South Kipling Street, in Lakewood. Please see the meeting_schedule at the bottom of this pag e.

We have a group discussion li st at groups.io for club members. To join the group, and participate, the l ink is https://groups.io/g/na0tc. Once you've joined the group, you can use e-mail, an app, or your web browser to post new topics and replies. When you apply for membership in the group, p lease be sure to specify your first and last name and your call sign.
The 285 TechConnect Radio Club is registered with the King Soopers Community Rewards prog ram. You will need to be a SooperCard participant to enroll in this program and choose our club as beneficiary. Search for the club name, or use our i d number, KN433.
Dues are ju st $10 a year, however we're suspending the dues requirement until 2022. If you'd like to formally join the club, just show up at a meeting and write your info on the signup sheet. You'll still need to join the mailing list yourself. We don't do that aut omatically.
The club is always looking for speak ers for our meetings. If you would like to share your knowledge of amateur radio operation or a related technical topic, or know of someone who can sp eak at one of our meetings, please contact our speaker coordinator< /a>.
The club is operati ng a remote sta tion for club member use. As always, we welcome offers of assistance fo r this effort. Please see the Remote Club Station page for more information.
We usually have regular meetings on the 1st Saturday of each month at 10AM, except July and December. Please subscribe to our mailing list for announcements.
From US 285 and Kipling, go North on Kipling 1/2 mile, then turn right (East) on Dartmouth Ave. Take the next right onto Dartmouth Place – you'll see the church on y our right. The immediate next right is Kipling St., and from there you can turn into the church parking lot. Please proceed to the West side of the bu ilding for parking. The meeting is on the 2nd floor - stairs are on the right as you walk into the building. An elevator is available.
We have coffee and doughnuts available prior to the mee ting.
