LICK FOR MORE INFOCOURSE DETAILS\n\nUTMB/ITRA: This race has been evaluated
and certified by the International TrailRunning Association. It is a UTMB
Qualifier worth 6 Points.\nHARDROCK: We are dedicated on working towards th
e Silverheels 100 being a qualifying run for the Hardrock 100-Mile Enduranc
e Run. This is not as easy a task as many runners would like, yet we are de
dicated to making this happen. The last response anyone got from members of
the Hardrock Board about Silverheels as a qualifier was this: “We looked a
t Silverheels at our last Board meeting.  I expect it will be a qualifier e
ventually, but we have a policy that a race be held twice before we add it
to the list.  Typically, we will then include past runnings of it as well.”
This by no means guarantees that Silverheels will indeed be a Hardrock Qua
lifier, but we are hopeful and we hope you will be too. Should Silverheels
100 be accepted as a Hardrock Qualifier, finishers from 2015 will be grandf
athered in and can use their 2015 Finish towards Hardrock 2017 Qualifying.
Also, finishers of our 2016 edition would be able to use Silverheels as a H
ardrock Qualifier for 2017 and 2018, again, providing Silverheels is accept
ed as a qualifier. So SIGN UP!\n\nCourse: The course begins an ends at Cohe
n Park located in Fairplay, CO. Runners will negotiate Dirt and Gravel Road
s, Single track trail, and remote trails of the Pike National Forest/South
Park Ranger District. Runners will negotiate these trails and roads at elev
ations between 9,000 and 12,500′.\n\n\nAid Stations: Runners will access 10
aid locations with a total of 21 stops. Each aid station will be fully sto
cked with water, electrolyte drink, and assorted “Ultra” snacks. There are
a few stations that are water only. Please see our Aid Stations chart for m
ore details.\n\n\nCrews and Pacers: Due to access difficulty in the area, t
here will be crew access at ONLY Five (5) aid station locations. Crews can
tend to their runners nine (9) times on the course between these five stati
ons. Note: Two of these crew accessible spots are hike in only. Please plan

ce in a delicate mountain environment. The route utilizes a variety of prop
erties owned and/or managed by Park County, The Town of Fairplay, The Unite
d States Forest Service, and numerous Private Land Owners. All of these rel
ationships, especially those with private land owners, are also delicate in

respectful of all private lands. Leave it better than you found it and abo

unapproved private lands will be swiftly banned from any and all HPRS even
 ts for LIFE.
