 ial Stair Climb is a way to honor and remember the FDNY firefighters who se
 lflessly gave their lives so that others might live on 9-11-2001. Each part
 icipant pays tribute to an FDNY firefighter by climbing the equivalent of t
 he 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Your individual tribute not only 
 remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY brother, but symbolically completes thei
 r heroic journey to save others. Through firefighter and community particip
 ation we can ensure that each of the 343 firefighters is honored and that t
 he world knows that we will never forget.<br /> <br /> The Stair Climb bene
 fits the FDNY CSU, helps defray the costs for FDNY families to attend Memor
 ial Weekend and the programs provided by the NFFF to support the families o
