This 3 day Symposium examines lessons learned from traumatic events and reveals new, preemptive school safety measures growing in multiple realms. The focus is on proactiv e, measured and effective methods of keeping schools safe and is designed t o provide a number of takeaways that districts, departments and agencies ca n implement immediately. This is not open to the public, and attendees will be asked to show an agency or organization I.D. upon check-in.
AUDIENCE: Law enforcement, school personnel, victim advocates, mental health professionals, emergency and risk managers, school safety teams and all first responders.

shooting.
A supper of pizza and salad will be provided after the ope
ning session (approx. 5:30 pm). This is a nice chance to get to know each o
ther and meet other participants.
Monday will be general sessions by nationally recognized keynote speak ers (8:30 - 4:30).
Tuesday i s a full day Standard Response Protocol/Standard Reunification Method Full Day Workshop (8:30 - 4:30).
Wednesday we convene at the Columbine Memorial for a short ceremony remindi ng us why we do what we do. Following the ceremony the morning session is h eld at Columbine High School (6201 S. Pierce Street, Littleton 80123), endi ng at 12:30.

Digital Threat Assessment was de veloped through the need to keep pace with the ever-evolving technology cha llenges that face our students currently. These challenges have entered the education domain with force and have overwhelmed school district staff thr oughout the world. The goal is to give attendees a stronger understanding o f the current social media world, tools to be able to proactively identify student safety concerns, and provide strategies for dealing with online sit uations as they arise. All aspects of school safety and threats to schools now involve a social media or online component and we need to be prepared.
