 es free counseling services to youth ages 12-20 in the mountain communities
  west of Denver and works to raise awareness of the social, emotional, and 
 mental health issues young adults face. LeanIn1220 works to provide the nec
 essary life skills to create wellness and resiliency in their lives.</span>

 span></p><p class="font_8"><span class="color_34">There is a public health 
 crisis in our state and nation. Mental health issues are on the rise, parti
 cularly in our youth who do not have the necessary skills and outlets to co
 pe. Substance use, psychiatric hospitalizations, and suicide attempts and c
 ompletions are indicative of this epidemic.</span></p><p class="font_8"><sp
 an style="color: #8b0000;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">WHERE WE DO IT<
 /span></span></p><p class="font_8"><span class="color_34">LeanIn1220 offers
  free mental health services in the foothills west of Denver. This includes
  four counties: western Jefferson County, Clear Creek County, southern Gilp
 in County, and Park County.</span></p><p class="font_8"><span style="color:
  #8b0000;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">HOW WE DO IT</span></span></p><
 p class="font_8"><span class="color_34">The LeanIn1220 approach is based on
  prevention. Students participate in individual or group sessions devoted t
 o the full range of mental health issues that young adults encounter. Addre
 ssing these needs works to alleviate stress and prevent future potential pr
 oblems. The LeanIn1220 website allows youth ages 12 and older to sign up fo
 r a 60-minute appointment with a therapist. Therapist’s names and qualifica
 tions are posted on the website, allowing the youth to select the counselor
  who will be best for them.</span></p><p class="font_8"><span class="wixGua
