 od, CO 80215!</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Due to the popula
 rity of reserved shopping for last year's Fall Whale of a Used Book Sale (a
 nd out of an abudance of caution due to COVID-19), shoppers can once again 
 reserve a 50-minute spot for the top of the hour in the slot of their choic
 e. A maximum of 80 shoppers can be inside the venue at one time.</span></p>
 <blockquote><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Whale of a Used Book Sale ha
 s a 20+year history of offering thousands of great quality donated books, C
 Ds, DVDs, vinyl records and many more items with prices starting at $0.50. 
 Proceeds are used to help support early childhood literacy programs, author
  talks, the Library Summer Challenge, and other programs and services at Je
 fferson County Public Library.</span></blockquote><p><span style="font-size
 : 12pt;"><em><strong>Reservations are available for the top of each hour fo
 r 50 minute increments on the following days:</strong></em></span></p><ul><
 li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Wednesday, June 23 from 5 PM - 8 PM - for

 g>: The sale offers high-quality items that have been donated. When they ar
 e donated to the Jefferson County Library Foundation, all items are quarant
 ined following the timeline established by the Library.</span></p><p><span 
 style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Social Distancing</strong>: Only 80 shoppe
 rs will be allowed into the exhibit hall at one time for 50-minute incremen
 ts at the top of each hour. To guarantee a spot at their desired time and d
 ay, shoppers must reserve one of the 80 spots ahead of time which requires 
 a small reservation fee of $5.00. Those paying the fee get one free book or
  media item of their choosing (Bert's excluded).</span></p><p><span style="
 font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Masks &amp; Hygiene</strong>: <strong>Everyone en
 tering the facility is required to wear a mask including shoppers, voluntee
 rs and staff.</strong> <em>There will be no exceptions to this rule regardl
 ess of health condition or waiver. </em>Sanitizer and gloves will be availa
 ble and will be used at great length inside the facility.</span></p><p><spa
 n style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>COVID Waiver: All persons attending the 
 sale will be required to sign a COVID waiver (release of liability) prior t

 will be available for $10. Boxes of adult hardbacks and paperbacks will als

 rong>Three things that haven’t changed: </strong></em></span></p><p><span s
 tyle="font-size: 12pt;">• On Saturday, June 26, Jefferson County employees,
  area teachers, and members of the FRIENDS of the Jefferson County Library 
 Foundation will be able to get half off the price of their purchases, excep
 t in the antique section downstairs below the exhibit hall known as Bert’s 
 Weathered &amp; Treasured. Everyone requesting the half-off discount, howev
 er, MUST show their employee identification.</span></p><p><span style="font
 -size: 12pt;">• On Sunday, June 27, all shoppers can purchase a regular gro
 cery-sized tote or bag of the books of their choosing for $8.00 per bag.</s

 mendous support from local sponsors, including our Friends Community Partne
