Start ing Thursday, June 6th, Cactus Jack’s and Friends will be hosting a new wee kly Farmer’s Market every Thursday until after Labor Day. Our goals and hop es are to bring additional affordable options for produce and goods & s ervices to our surrounding foothill communities. We also want to create an affordable option for vendors to showcase and sell items. The cost will be $20 per space/week.

We want to have one space available for a cause or passion or education booth to s pread information to our communities. This space will not be charged and wi ll rotate weekly. If you are a non-profit or community advocate, reach out to sign up. We will be accepting applications for vendors until May 2nd and announce vendors on May 9th.

The Farmer’s Market wi ll run for 13 weeks starting June 6th with our last date being Sept. 6th. W e will not run the market on July 4th. We understand vendors may not want o r be able to commit to all 13 weeks. In your application, please give a bri ef description of who you are, what your product or service is, your contac t information, what weeks you want to commit to and how many spaces you req uest to showcase your goods & services. We look forward to reviewing ap plications and can’t wait to get started.

Hours will be from 9 am - 2 pm with set up time starting at 8 am. We have 15-18 spots available each week and are excited to start reviewing applications. REQUIREME NTS

All vendors are require d to have the following documentation:

Business License

Health Department Certification (Jefferson County)

Liability Insurance (all food related businesses)

Booth locations are determined at the complete disc retion of the market manager in order to create a balanced and aesthetic ma rketplace. Location requests may be made to the market manager in advance b ut cannot be guaranteed. Market managers will keep the market layout as con sistent as possible, but all booth locations are subject to move for any re ason at the manager’s discretion. Especially those for vendors who are not consistently at the market each week. Vendors may not switch, transfer, or “sublet” booth space without approval from management. Vendors are restrict ed to operating within their assigned space. Vendors must request and recei ve approval for anything beyond a 10’x10’ space with one side open to the m arket area. If there is anything wrong with or unsafe about your booth loca tion at any point, vendors must notify the market manager immediately. Vend ors are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized booth area that i s in compliance with all local laws and regulations. Vendors must leave the ir booth location as clean as they found it. Vendors must request electrici ty or permission to run a generator if desired. We cannot guarantee either but will do our best to accommodate.

Equipment and S upplies

Vendors are require d to provide all of their own supplies and materials. Unless arranged other wise, vendors are always required to bring and set up: i. A 10x10 canopy 1. Must be fully functional and safe as designed- at the market manager’s dis cretion. 2. Smaller and larger tents permitted upon request. ii. 40+lbs of weight PER leg (120lbs total) for each 10x10 canopy. 1. Weights must be sec urely attached to the TOP corners of each tent by rigid straps/ropes that d o not stretch. Underweight vendors are subject to be removed from the marke t at any point. iii. Large and visible signage naming your business or prod ucts sold. 1. Clean and professional.

Conduct

< div dir="auto" style="text-align: start;">Vendors shall be present and atte ntive to customers for the entire duration of the market, with the exceptio ns of bathroom breaks and extenuating circumstances. o No vendor shall inte rfere with the business of another. No shouting or wandering the market out side of assigned booth locations to solicit sales. o Vendors shall conduct their business in a professional and courteous manner, and shall not engage in any disruptive or offensive behavior. o Vendors shall not use offensive language or make derogatory comments towards any customer, vendor, or mark et staff. o Vendors shall not engage in any activities that may be harmful to the reputation of the market or the vendors participating in the market. o Vendors shall not sell or distribute any stolen or illegal items or enga ge in any illegal activities while on market property. o Vendors shall not use any amplified music or sound without prior approval from the market man ager. o Vendors shall not solicit or conduct any business unrelated to the market while on-site during market hours, including community and political outreach. o Vendors are permitted to have animals with them as long as the y are not disrupting market operations.

Compliance

All vendors participating wi th Growing Out West Markets must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines of the United States, the State of Colorado, and Jefferson C ounty. Compliance includes licensing, labeling, product safety, taxation, a nd any statutory or regulatory requirements relevant to the vendor's busine ss.

Responsibility

Vendors are solely responsible for understanding and complyi ng with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to their business act ivities. Growing Out West Market is not responsible for any legal violation s or noncompliance issues on the part of vendors, despite any assistance we may provide.

Verification

Growing Out West Market may, at its discretion, requ est documentation from vendors as proof of compliance, including insurance, tax payments, and health department licenses. Failure to provide such docu mentation may result in termination of the vendor's participation. All vend ors must comply with all guidelines or rules enforced by entities that we a re contracted to our space with.

Right to Terminate< /div>

Growing Out West Market res erves the right to terminate a vendor's participation immediately if, in th e sole discretion of market management, the vendor violates any laws, regul ations, or market policies.

Insurance and Liability< /div>

General Liability Insurance : Vendors must obtain and maintain general liability insurance, listing Gro wing Out West Market as an additional insured party. The Vendor must obtain such insurance prior to selling at the Market and produce a copy of the in surance certificate upon request. The Market does not provide any insurance coverage for Vendors.
