 ged from Tuesday to Wednesdays, with the work session beginning at 1pm and 
 the meeting at 3pm. This change will go into effect April 23rd, 2025.</span

 function as a service of the State and to serve as the legislative, policy 
 making, and administrative body governing the unincorporated areas. The spe
 cific powers, authorities, and responsibilities of the Board of County Comm
 issioners include the following:</p><p>The responsibility to provide leader
 ship to county operations through the adoption of the annual budget, which 
 includes all departments, commissions, and other spending agencies funded b
 y County approporiations</p><p>The power to levy taxes, subject to State ta
 x revenue limitations</p><p>The authority to represent and manage the busin
