"The World's Longest Picnic Table event is attempting to break the Guinness World record for, you guessed it, the longest picnic table! The event will be a family-friendly, fun-filled day with food, drinks, and entertainment. Come be a part of this record breaking event! All donations will go to supporting our local non-profits that help feed the foothills communities.

The event will be held on September 24, 2016 from 11am - 3pm at Buchanan Park in Evergreen, Colorado, which is located at the intersection of Highway 74 and Squaw Pass Road."

They have several of our area's favorite food vendors lined up and ready to fill your tummies, live music, and the chance to be a part of history! They are currently looking for table sponsors at $300, $500, and $750 levels if you'd like to have your name as part of this historic occasion.

Way to go LE Class of 2015! The World's Longest Picnic Table event raised $12,000 so they were able to distribute $3,000 to each of the 4 food bank recipients!

IT'S OFFICIAL! Leadership Evergreen's Class of 2015's World's Longest Picnic Table event is officially listed on the Guinness World Records website . Congratulations to our class of 2015 members for this historic accomplishment and thank you again to everyone who supported, sponsored, volunteered, and attended the World's Longest Picnic Table. The event raised over $12,000 total for 4 area food banks as a result.

The longest picnic table is 247.10 m (810 ft 8.3 in) and was achieved by Leadership Evergreen Class of 2015 (USA) as measured in Evergreen, Colorado, USA, on 24 September 2016.

Planning the event and constructing the benches was estimated to have taken nearly 900 man-hours of work.
