I don't know about you, but I use Instagram for business a good bit. It's great for professionals in the real estate industry since it's a visual platform and I get to look at pretty houses all day. But besides the visual aspect of it, this social platform has played an instrumental role in the many friendships I've made with some really cool and interesting people (that I probably wouldn't have met otherwise)!
Take Phil Eisele, for example. I discovered Phil while surfing through Instagram using geographical hashtags. (Did I lose you there?) Anyway, when I used a local geo-tag, Phil's art popped up on my screen. Not knowing he was from the area, I tapped on his profile and was drawn to his art. Then I realized he was from Bailey and that's when I decided to feature him as a guest!
I'm in a very creative time in my life right now. I feel very thankful to God that I'm able to be up here in this beautiful place of Bailey, and work from home, and create. I just feel like I'm kind of back to my roots of what I did years ago and it feels terrific.

Have you been to the amazing Treehouse Adventure Park yet? It's located near downtown Bailey and is such a beautiful and unique aerial park where no climbing experience is necessary! It's fun for (almost) all ages!
Push yourself on challenge courses while being suspended in the sky and ride along self-guided zip lines. The encouraging staff is there help you whenever it's necessary.
It's just an amazing time. There are so many new boundaries that could be pushed. You can be super high up and you can also stay really low, but you're challenging yourself in so many ways. I see people who come out here, afraid to get off the ground, and then they get up there and they are blown away at what they just accomplished. And that's so exciting to see people break those boundaries and have confidence and really learn new things about themselves.

Check them out before they sell out :) Remember to shop local! Located in Conifer near Pleasant Park by the high school. For the full video interview and to see their plants, click read more!
Festivals are like family reunions, a time when we see our friends and neighbors and all are gathered for the same purpose: to enjoy a spirit of camaraderie. ~Curt Kovener
Our mountain events are where we get to show off who we are and what is important to us. They reflect the uniqueness of our communities, the personality of its residents and its history, and they help support our area nonprofits who use them to fundraise for the services they provide. It's an opportunity to gather, have fun, get the kids out of the house, connect with neighbors, make new memories, and deepen bonds of friendship and community camaraderie.
Without further ado, here is the list of community events happening in the Foothills this year (bear in mind, this is a work in progress as more events will be added to our Community Calendar as organizations finalize details and publish them). You'll find details for the events below by clicking their link to go to their Calendar listing. You can also search our Community Calendar by date, category, or keywords. Please feel free to share with friends and family, and invite them to come have some fun!
