Clear Creek School District RE-1
On Tuesday January 16th, due to expected inclement weather and sub zero temperature, Clear Creek School District will be closed. Thank you.
Park County School District RE-2 1-16-2024
High winds are expected all night tonight creating hazardous conditions for the morning commute.
We are going to start with a 2 hour delay for tomorrow, January 16. We will assess the conditions early in the morning and will be in touch if there is a need to cancel school for tomorrow.
Jeffco Public School District
Snow Day Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16
Due to the unprecedented length of sustained low temperatures that is forecasted to continue tomorrow, all Jeffco Public Schools buildings and facilities will be closed Tuesday, January 16. This will give us time to assess district facilities and prepare them to safely serve students.
All childcare programs, after-school activities, and meetings scheduled to be in Jeffco Public Schools facilities are canceled. No Jeffco Public Schools transportation services will be provided for services within or outside the district.
Charter school families, please check your school’s website to verify weather-related delays and closures.

Platte Canyon School District
Due to extremely low wind chill temperatures predicted for the morning hours tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16th all PCSD schools will be closed. The primary consideration in making this decision is, of course, for the safety of our students and staff. All after school activities are also cancelled for tomorrow. Normal operations will resume on Wednesday.

Jefferson County Colorado:
Due to inclement weather, all Jefferson County buildings and the courts will have a delayed opening on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Jefferson County buildings will open at 10 a.m.
