Evergreen alpine ski team nabs 18 state qualifications

WINTER PARK — With plenty of talent and state qualifications to go around, the Evergreen High School ski team has a lot going for it this year.


But perhaps the large team — which represents all of Jeffco and some schools from the surrounding counties — can boast about its team spirit and love of sport the most.

“Today, we saw so much camaraderie,” assistant coach Christian Ramaker said. “We were absolutely the loudest team out there, rooting our skiers on at the starting gate. Having more advanced skiers and racers that are just getting into it, it’s great for everyone to be able to share their wisdom and their skill.”
