Basic Pistol Class (CCW) – Sat, Aug 19, 2023 – 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM

I heard the great news that they caught the sexual perp finally. One less demented person to deal with in our community. You should always be aware of those around you on your walks, around your home, wherever you may go. Being prepared is important; there needs to be a plan in case you're in trouble.
On Saturday, August 19th, COFA will be hosting a Basic Pistol course for anyone to attend. Those 21 and older will receive a certificate allowing them to apply for their Concealed Carry Permit (CCW) in Colorado. We have five seats remaining for the class; act now if you want a seat.
COFA is hosting a Basic Pistol class on Saturday, Aug 19, from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm at the COFA Green Barn, Conifer Training Facility. Everyone is invited to register for this class. Those under 21 are welcome to attend for informational purposes, and those under 18 will need to have a parent or guardian present. However, they will not be able to apply for their concealed carry permit until after their 21st birthday. Please contact us (see below) for questions or more information about this.
This is a basic pistol course that meets the standards Colorado law has put in place and satisfies the educational qualifications in which to obtain a concealed carry permit in the state of Colorado.
Personal firearms and live ammunition are not permitted in the class. COFA will provide Smith & Wesson M&P 40 .177 Caliber Air Pistol handguns to practice with.
COFA's instructor, George Reinbold, is an NRA Basic Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer.
