MASKerade: The Mountain Fundraiser by Rotary Club of Conifer

Why have a MASKerade?

If ever a year brought opportunities to display resilience, flexibility, and creative problem solving, 2020 has certainly been that year for all of us. Our Rotary Club of Conifer and Conifer Rotary Foundation usually rely on special events like Conifer Festival and the Foothills Home and Garden Show to fund projects, scholarships, and grants throughout the year. With so many limitations for conducting in-person events this year, we decided to host MASKerade, the mountain fundraiser designed to provide you with locally crafted masks for the 2020 holidays and beyond.

To date, our Rotary Club of Conifer and Friends Face Masks Sewing Project has provided over 9,700 cloth face masks to local families, schools, nursing homes, medical offices, hospitals, hospices, health care agencies, businesses, and food banks as well as the Navajo and Sioux Nations in three states.

Our mask designs have evolved quite a bit, too, thanks to the feedback from you, the users. We sew rectangular and cone masks that tie behind the ears or across the back of the head.

You now have a unique opportunity to buy our face masks and support our virtual MASKerade fundraiser at the same time.
