Many patients delay palliative or hospice care because they think it means giving up or giving in, but choosing palliative or hospice care is about choosing to live and enjoy the things you love in the time you have.

With palliative care, the goal is to improve the quality of life for those living with a chronic or progressive disease by helping them manage pain and other side effects, while also providing them emotional and spiritual care. Patients in palliative care can continue seeking curative treatments. Hospice care is focused on providing comfort care, maximizing the quality of life for a patient and their family, and guiding them through their final journey.

If you have questions about palliative care or hospice care, please call us at 303-674-6400.
