Saturday June 3
National Trails Day
Come hike Staunton’s beautiful trails on National Trails Day.

Interpreter’s Table Bird Beak Buffet, 10am-3p
Come learn about the Park’s birds and the different characteristics they have to allow them to eat their favorite delicacies!

Sunday June 4
Kids Fishing Program 10 am-2p
The fish are biting!! Come play backyard bass and then fish at beautiful Davis Ponds! All gear provided for those 16yrs and over. Must have a valid fishing license.

Monday June 5
Archery in the Park! 10am-2p
Take a beautiful leisurely hike to Davis Ponds and learn how to use a bow and arrow! Fun for all ages!

Wednesday June 7
Kids Program 10am
Birds flying and fluttering all over the Park! Come learn about these feathery flying friends!

June 7, 8 and 9
Jr Ranger Program 12n-3p
Each session includes a three day program held Wed. Thur. Fri. 12noon-3:00pm
Sign up online at Staunton State Park website or at the Park Entrance.

This program is designed for children to enjoy independent experience and gain knowledge of the outdoors. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend the final day graduation event. A lite lunch and graduation ceremony will be held on the final day - don’t forget your camera!

Wildlife Photography! 10am
Learn how to take breathtaking photographs! Bring your own camera for a short instructional class and then hike with a photographer along the Park’s beautiful trails to use your new skills to photograph the many wonders of Staunton State Park!

Sunday June 11
Archery in the Park! 10am-2p
Take a beautiful leisurely hike to Davis Ponds and learn how to use a bow and arrow! Fun for all ages!

Tuesday June 13
Wildflower Hike 10am
Take a hike with a plant expert! Learn interesting facts and some fun fiction about Staunton’s beautiful wildflowers!

Wednesday June 14
Kids Program 10am
Butterflies floating and fluttering about! Let’s learn about their unique life cycle and then walk the trails with nets and capture their beauty!

Thursday June 15
Family Fishing Program 5pm-8pm
The fish are biting!! Come play backyard bass and then fish at beautiful Davis Ponds! All gear provided those 16yrs and over must have a valid fishing license.

Saturday June 17
Kids Fishing Program 10am-2p
The fish are biting!! Come play backyard bass and then fish at beautiful Davis Ponds! All gear provided those 16yrs and over must have a valid fishing license.

Sunday June 18
Interpreter’s Table 10am-3p
Learn about the animals living in the Park! Discover how their characteristics help them survive in the wilderness.

Marmot Fest!! 9am-3pm
Come help celebrate the Park’s Mascot, Raymond the Marmot!! Free activities include: Rock Climbing, Burrow Crawling, Puppet Making, Game Playing, Marmot Scoping, and a spectacular art show! See attached flyer for all the fun events planned!
