Grassroots planning for 2015-2016 LWV year

The League of Women Voters has two essential roles:  to educate its members and the public on vital issues and to advocate at appropriate governmental levels on issues studied and on which members have taken a position.  The issues the Jeffco League will study are chosen at meetings each January.  This year that important grassroots meeting will be held in the Evergreen/Golden area on Tuesday, January 27 at 9:15 a.m. at Highland Rescue Team Ambulance Service, 317 S. Lookout Mountain, Golden 80401.  Members and the public are invited to attend and to offer suggestions for the topics to be studied in the 2015-2016 LWV year beginning next September.  Call Janet at 303-674-7755 for more information.
