Hello vaporgeek, and welcome to My Mountain Town! We are happy to help support our fellow local businesses and appreciate that you are taking the time to ask about what's allowed and what isn't. You are welcome to post about your business in our Free Mountain Classifieds to get the word out about where you are and what you offer.

If you have a logo, please do add that to your Profile, and your contact information/website to your signature and business listing so folks know how to find you. Thanks!

Hi, I own Vapor Geek a local store for buying vape juice and related accessories. I see that Tobacco is not allowed but wanted to ask if that means vape as well, it's not tobacco and some online forums do allow it. I don't want to post items for sale or anything like that I just want to get the word out that I'm here for current vapers and smokers that want to switch to a healthier option than cigarettes.
Thanks

Hi MamaBea!
You are more than welcome to post your delicious beef for sale in our Member & Business Classifieds! I think the animal parts that's mentioned in the terms of service is for things that aren't edible or could be from a poached source. Yours definitely is not that.

My apologies ramage, that tutorial you clicked to was for our separate classifieds page that we used to have and had to remove because the software wasn't getting updated by the developers and had become broken beyond repair. We went back to only using our Mountain Classifieds Forum. To start a post there is the same as a post in the Courthouse or any other forum here. If you are selling something, I highly recommend adding photos of the item(s) so people can see what they'd be buying. That tutorial is posted here.

(wish I wasn't so dense, but honestly, I've dinked around here trying to post an ad in the classified section and can't.)

Just published!
101 Ways to Die with a Horse or Live Happily Ever After, an essential safety guide for horse & rider, by Tanya Buck, illustrated by Jennipher Cunningham.
In the world of horses, the most important thing is to keep both you and your horse safe. It begins when deciding to ride and the adventure continues as you begin down the road of happy horse ownership, so knowing what “safe” means is the one thing every equestrian needs to know.
Divided into 3 parts, topics include:
• How horses think and why it matters.
• Safety measures to take before you get
to the barn; what to wear, how to act.
• Choosing the best trainer, veterinarian and farrier.
• Buying and selling a horse
• Safely riding in company; on the trail and in the arena.
• Why choosing the correct tack is important.
• Trailer loading and safety hauling tips.
• Health care and more.

Local author and artist, so if you would like a signed first edition, contact me here or go to www.TanyaBuck.com and shop! I can meet you to deliver if you are near enough to Conifer/Evergreen/Bailiey. Signed copies are also available at Billy's Inner Glow in Conifer. Get a facial while you're there, they are the best! If you get a treatment from Billy, the book is only $20! Just mention this post.

Hi ksmjewelry!

Please don't worry about the "fees" portion of the statement - using the Classifieds is free for everyone! What that is referring to is that you have the option to pay to make your ad a "Top Ad" for $1 so that it rotates along the bottom scrolling ads! The payment is tied directly to our Paypal account, so the funds are transferred directly, which is what that legal mumbo jumbo says. Our apologies for any confusion!
