Kick up your boots with us at a 4-H Barn Dance on Saturday, May 2, 2015, in the Event Center Indoor Arena at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds from 5:00pm to 9:30pm. Enjoy a BBQ Dinner from Tin Star Smokehouse while signing up to win Silent Auction items beginning at 5:00pm. The Silent Auction will close in increments up until 7:00pm. Our Live Auction will begin at 7:00pm with Auctioneer Kevin Rutter. At 7:30pm, dance to the Tyler Walker Band, Nashville recording artists, who are back again for their second year with our event! Tickets are $25 per person and $10 for children 10 and under. Advance ticket sales only. No alcohol permitted. Proceeds benefit the 4-H Youth Development Program in Jefferson County. The Jefferson County 4-H Funding Committee is a group of adult and youth volunteers who have taken on the responsibility of raising funds to support non-profit 4-H programs in Jefferson County.  Funds raised are used to pay for fees for facilities 4-H clubs use and for scholarships and activities that enhance skills, prepare for shows, and hold events in Jefferson County.  Youth who participate in 4-H develop tools to succeed in life--confidence, compassion, and the connections to caring adults helping guide community contributions.  In 4-H, kids learn by doing!  4-H members can choose from over 50 project areas in hands-on, learn-by-doing environments with adult 4-H volunteer leaders.
