Investigate riparian creatures and features with a scenic walk along babbling Bear Creek. Then we'll finish up with stories and s'mores around a campfire.
Program Details
All ages.
Enjoy an easy 45-minute hike along on a level dirt surface trail next to Bear Creek. Make sure to wear good walking shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather. We also recommend insect repellent and a water bottle.
We will provide traditional s’more fixings (graham crackers, marshmallows, and milk chocolate) for all campfire programs. We will also provide a gluten-free graham cracker option. Please feel free to bring your own s’more fixin’s or snack if you and your family have other dietary needs.
You will meet the naturalist at the kiosk in the parking lot of Lair o' the Bear Park.
