Stroll with a Native Plant Master along easy trails identifying and naming local plants. Participants will be able to put a name with the plant and discover interesting uses of each plant by wildlife and documented historical uses by humans.
Native Plant Masters are certified experts in Colorado's native flora. They are volunteers with a passion for plants and have received special training from Colorado State University Extension who then share that knowledge with others. Join us for a walk through the wealth of native wildflowers, grasses, trees, and shrubs that Jefferson County has to offer.
