Join the PCHS on a geological trip up MountBailey!

The Park County Historical Society will have our first trip of 2015, on Sunday May 17th. We will meet at Fawks/Weakland Park in Burland Ranchettes at 10:00.(County Road. 72, right on Burland Drive, 1 mile park is on the right) Pete Modreski will be our guide, on a geologic time machine, as we ascend to the peak of Mt. Bailey.

Pete is a USGS Geologist, majoring in Chemistry until his last semesters in college, when he decided to major in geology. Other geologists will also be in attendance to assist with questions, points of interest. Bring a sack lunch, and we can picnic at the park after the hike. We will also tour other sites of interest in the area after lunch. Come along for another adventure with the PCHS, as we gear up for another summer of fun and adventure!
