There is a lot more to constellations than just pretty shapes in the sky. From navigating the high seas to telling us when it’s time to plant our crops these nighttime observers have a lot to show us.

Program Details
Ages 6 years + with an adult. (Younger children are welcome with their family but the program content is geared for kids ages 6 years + and adults.) 

Please dress to be outside, at night, and standing still while looking at the stars. Dress in warm layers, coats, sweaters, and hats as needed. Please bring a flashlight preferably with a red filter or bulb.

Feel free to bring your own binoculars and/or telescope (not required). We also recommend chairs or blanket to sit on, snacks, water, hot chocolate, etc.

You will meet the naturalist in the main parking lot of Hildebrand Ranch Park at the kiosk. This program will involve little to no hiking.
