Visit the Archives during Burro Days

Park County Local History Archives is now located at the old Court House building on Main Street in Fairplay.

Members of the non-profit organization have developed a new book featuring photos and narratives of the history of the county. The book, named, “Park County,” is part of Arcadia Publishing’s Images of America series. “Park County” and other books will be available for sale during Burro Days, July 25 and 26. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors are welcome to come and see our new quarters and purchase books that reflect the history and heritage of the county.
