Heritage Day Activities:

Florissant Fire Department breakfast from 7 am to 11 am – Be sure to start the day with a Good Breakfast and support our Volunteer Fire Department. 2606 Hwy 24, Florissant, CO 80816

Pikes Peak Historical Society Museum (18033 Teller County Road 1, Cripple Creek, CO 80813) will be open from 9 AM until 4 PM  and from 10 AM to 2 PM between the building and the teepee we will have:

Gold Panning demonstration

Exhibit tables of Lake George Gem & Mineral Club young Earth Science Scholars: microscopes, fossils, rocks, minerals, and other curiosities.

Flint knapping demonstration (making arrowheads and other items) closest to the teepee.

The Schoolhouse Museum will be open.

The Grange activities will be from 9 am to closing in the late afternoon.
