Beginning this month, and for the next three monthly bird trips, we'll distinguish year-round residents from seasonal migrants.  Join our naturalist to learn techniques for identifying, describing, and remembering each bird you see. You will also learn facts about different birds and have your many bird questions answered.

Program Details
Adults

This program will be 2 -3 hours long with an option to stay after for a brown bag lunch (not provided).

The hike will take place on the Owl's Perch and Lodgepole Loop trails.

Please wear hiking boots or good, comfortable walking shoes. Dress for the weather.

Bring with you binoculars, a bird guide (if you have one), snacks and water as needed. You can also bring a lunch if you would like to stay after the program to discuss the results of the day.

Dress for the weather and bring sunscreen and a hat.

You will meet the naturalist at the Main trailhead/parking lot of Meyer Ranch Park. The parking lot is on the south side of Hwy 285.

Let's play and learn outside! Our programs go rain, snow, or shine! So, dress accordingly. We will cancel the program if the weather is hazardous or unsafe. If a program is canceled we will send an e-mail and/or call each registered participant. You can also check the event listing. We usually make the call to cancel within 24 hours of the program
