Course description: Enjoy a three-day OIL PAINTING plein air (open air) workshop taught by award winning American Impressionist, Tricia Bass (see www.TriciaBass.com). Designed for all levels, the class will focus on outdoor painting with study emphasis on color and value comparison, simplification and accelerated painting methods for rendering a quick study. Sunday will include a discussion of composition and design problems to challenge the more advance students. All levels will be comfortable with personal instruction adjusted to your ability. Plan to have three days of hard work and loads of fun, with a wine and cheese social on your final day. Transportation is required to travel to various locations. Directions will be provided. Be prepared for all weather conditions.
