Child Advocate Training begins soon! September 15, 2015-September 26, 2015: Participants will attend 6 in-person sessions on Tuesday September 15 & 22 from 5:30-9pm, Thursday September 17 & 24 from 5:30pm-9pm, Saturday September 19 & 26 from 9am-4pm and observe two Dependency and Neglect court hearings over a two week period of time. The in-person sessions is taught by CASACD (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of the Continental Divide) staff, trained CASA volunteers and Child Welfare & Human Services professionals from the community. Participants should have intermediate computer skills, a personal computer with a high-speed internet connection with current/updated web browser.
