Hay Bales & Horse Tales – Colorado Horsecare Foodbank’s annual flagship benefit event – is a wonderful, casual evening event that includes a delicious, hearty barbecue dinner, silent auction, live auction, live entertainment with local favorite band Jewel & the Rough and the chance to meet and mingle with like-minded people who love horses! Boots and jeans are the attire of choice, and the fun and camaraderie makes this event get better and better every year.

In 2015, we moved Hay Bales & Horse Tales to The Inn at Hudson Gardens - a more centralized location that’s reachable if you’re coming from the north, south, east, or western portions of Colorado’s Front Range. Hay Bales & Horse Tales will be held the main building at Hudson Gardens called The Inn at Hudson Gardens, a charming and historic log cabin. We also have discounted hotel rooms with a free shuttle available for those who don't want to drive home the night of the event.
