Jeffco LWV to host Legislative Reception

The League of Women Voters of Jefferson County is hosting an afternoon wine and cheese reception in Golden on Thursday, Nov. 5, for county residents and members of the Colorado General Assembly who represent districts in Jeffco. The reception will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Jefferson Unitarian Church, 14350 West 32nd Ave. 80401, and will provide an opportunity for those members of the General Assembly to socialize with constituents and to make a brief presentation on their legislative priorities for the 2016 session. This event replaces the LWV’s legislative breakfast, held for many years in December. There is no charge and reservations are not required.

State Senators invited include: Tim Neville, R, District 16; Laura J. Woods, R, District 19; Cheri Jahn, D, District 20; and Andrew “Andy” Kerr, D, District 22.

State House Representatives invited include: Susan Lontine, D, District 1; Justine Everett, R, District 22; Max Tyler, D, district 23; Jessie Danielson, D, District 24; Jon Keyser, R, District 25; Lang Sias, R, District 27; Brittany Pettersen, D, District 28; and Tracy Kraft-Tharp, D, District 29.
