Do you know what to do if someone you are with suffers a sudden, unexpected loss of heart function (cardiac arrest)? If you don't, we would like to teach you. IHFR is offering free CPR classes to our community. We currently have two different types of classes scheduled.

- American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR will be offered on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00 pm. This class should take about 90 minutes and teaches students how to perform CPR including chest compressions and rescue breathing.

- Hands only CPR will be offered on Friday, November 13th at 7:00 pm. Known as AHA Friends and Family CPR, this class should take about 30 minutes and teaches students how to keep blood flowing by performing chest compressions.

Both classes will also include information on how to use an AED and how to properly help someone who's choking.
