Join Laurie Love for Yoga for Beginners ~ Foundations Yoga Series!
Yoga for Beginners is a 4-week program for beginner yogis and yoginis who wish to develop a foundational yoga practice and cultivate the confidence and curiosity to attend yoga classes in community. This program is also great for those who have some yoga experience and want to revisit yoga fundamentals. Students will have opportunities to learn posture modifications in order to accommodate injuries and/or physical limitations either in classes or their own personal practice.
Each session will include:
*Introduction to the 8 Limbs of Yoga, the Bandhas, the Vayus, and the Chakras
*Practice of pranayama (breathwork) & meditation techniques
*Asana practice, including postures and alignment principles
*Handouts/educational materials
*Healthy snacks, tea, and filtered water
*Invaluable practical knowledge for your mind, body and spirit :)
When: Thursdays, January 7, 14, 21 & 28th, 6:30-8pm
