Stroll with a Native Plant Master along easy trails identifying and naming local plants. Search for early blossoms and discover the importance of native plants to wildlife and humans.

Native Plant Masters are certified experts in Colorado's native flora. They are volunteers with a passion for plants and have received special training from Colorado State University Extension who then share that knowledge with the others. Join us for a walk through the wealth of native wildflowers, grasses, trees, and shrubs that Jefferson County has to offer.

You will meet the naturalist in the main parking lot of South Valley Park by the kiosk.

The hike will take place on Coyote Song trail and will be an easy hike with frequent stops to see what is in bloom!
