Painting in the Present Moment with Ed Zorensky
Painting from life is about knowing what matters. It is about moving from detail to essence in order to capture clear and convincing visual impressions. This eight-week class will meet Saturday mornings at CAE, painting outdoors and in studio-plein air, still life and figure. We will emphasize color and shape to portray what we love about what we are observing. The resulting painting may be a finished work or a springboard to a more complex rendering. We will also discuss practical equipment choices to facilitate painting efficiently on location and in studio.
DATES: Eight Saturdays: April 2, 16, 23, 30; May 7, 14; June 4, 11, 9:00am-noon
