A Colorado Mountain Tradition

The Evergreen Rodeo is a Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) event that takes place in the beautiful mountain community of Evergreen, Colorado, every summer on Father's Day weekend.  Members of the all-volunteer Evergreen Rodeo Association work year-round to ensure that our rodeo is one of the best.  

Our Rodeo Weekend includes a Friday family fun night, a fabulous Saturday morning parade through downtown Evergreen, and afternoon rodeo performances on Saturday and Sunday. Come celebrate our western heritage and join in this Colorado mountain tradition.

Friday, June 17 - Family Fun Night & Benefit for Tri-County Little Britches

• Gates open at 3:00, events begin at 4:00.  Vendors, rides and games are open throughout the evening.
• 4:00 - Drill Team & trick riders
• 4:30 - Little Britches demonstration events
• 5:00 - Mutton Bustin'
• 5:30 - games for kids (stick horse race, boot scramble, stick horse bingo)
• 6:00 - Royalty Barrel Race
• 6:30 - Jackpot (amateur) Barrel Race
• 7:00 - Mutton Bustin'
• 7:30 - Sheep Ribbon Chase
• 8:00 - Drill Team & trick riders
• 8:30 - right after Drill Team - Band: Arena Rock All Stars

Saturday, June 18 - Parade and Rodeo

Parade - 10:00 - Rodeo Parade along Highway 74 and through downtown Evergreen

Rodeo

• 11:00 - Gates open
• 12:00 - Mutton Bustin' check-in begins
• 12:30 to 1:00: Mutton Bustin'
• 1:00 - Pre-Show begins with our Evergreen Rodeo Drill Team
• 2:00 - the Evergreen Rodeo begins!
• Mutton Bustin' is during the rodeo between Tie-Down Roping and Barrel Racing

Sunday, June 19 - Rodeo 

Rodeo

• 11:00 - Gates open
• 12:00 - Mutton Bustin' check-in begins
• 12:30 to 1:00: Mutton Bustin'
• 1:00 - Pre-Show begins with our Evergreen Rodeo Drill Team
• 2:00 - the Evergreen Rodeo begins!
• Mutton Bustin' during the rodeo between Tie-Down Roping and Barrel Racing
• Queen's coronation during the rodeo
