Summerset Festival was founded 32 years ago as a way to gather the community together to say good-bye to summer.
Now, as the primary fundraiser of the Foothills Foundation, it has grown in size and sophistication, attracting over 30,000 festival-goers each year. The mission of the event is to build a stronger South Jefferson county by supporting local cultural, educational and recreational programs and activities, while creating opportunities for community partnerships and volunteerism.
