BACKGROUND: This year Jefferson County Open Space will host several small scale Saturday projects at a handful of our parks, through October. Locations for some of these projects are subject to change depending on our work flow throughout the year.   The forecast can be upredicatble this time of year so this event will go forward weather permitting.

Jefferson County Open Space will host volunteer workdays every Wednesday and occasional Saturday through October in an effort to engage volunteers in a multitude of restoration and construction efforts. Wprk will focus on rerouting a portion of Red Rocks Trail in order to provide a more sustainable route for park visitors.  Jefferson County Open Space staff will also provide training opportunities for volutneers looking to enhance their trail maintenance skills.
